The International Spieltage SPIEL, also known as Essen Spiel, is a major annual trade fair for board games and card games held in Essen, Germany. The event is organized by Friedhelm Merz Verlag, a publishing company that specializes in board games.
The SPIEL fair is considered the world’s largest board game trade fair, with exhibitors from all over the world showcasing their latest games and innovations. The fair attracts tens of thousands of visitors, including board game enthusiasts, industry professionals, and retailers.
